Upon Arriving in 2009, this was Coach Snyder's vision for Rittman Track & Field.
“I am excited to represent Rittman Schools as the varsity girls track coach. I am committed to building a program that contends yearly for medals in Columbus at the state track meet. This year many girls will accomplish goals they never thought possible; it is my desire to equip each athlete with the ability to meet and exceed their goals. In the coming months, we will have an organizational meeting to discuss important dates and information. I encourage all girls to consider being a part of what I’m sure will be a terrific season. Whether you have participated in track before or not does not matter. The only skills required to start are a willingness to try hard and persevere, the results will come in time. No one steps onto the track the first time setting records. I am hoping that those who have participated in track and field before will see things from a new perspective and those who have not will have the great opportunity to try something new and realize that they are capable of so much.
After 7 years of coaching, 7 state championships (event championships), 8 All-Ohioans, 7 Wall of Fame Inductions, the vision remains the same. To help our student-athletes realize their own potential.
